  1. Michelin Defenders and warranty

That is off. Mine went through the first 2 front pirellis in 12k miles, then I got an alignment at Costa Mesa, drives super straight now and with about 10k miles in the Michelins have minimal to no noticeable wear. They can fix it.
  2. My Rivian R1S rebooted while I was driving!

Also getting this a couple times since the latest software update.
  3. Spotify playlist bugs

So in good news all of these issues seem to be fixed now as of version 2025.14! Very pleased about this!
  4. 2024.47 update - Charging limit not being held when set in truck sometimes

I also had this issue, did a hard reboot and it seems better, but we’ll see if it lasts. Give that a try.
  5. New 21" tire option - Michelin Defender LTX M/S 2 275/55-21 @ $380

I have had the Michelins about 1500 miles now. Overall happy with them, they are quiet and no issues. I expect much longer life than the pirellis, which I got about 40k miles from 6 of them (replaced fronts only at like 15k). however, my efficiency is down- seeing 1.99 avg now vs lifetime of...
  6. Spotify playlist bugs

Thanks, I’ll give it a try. one more- sometimes when someone skips songs from the rear screen it will get stuck in a skipping loop and just skip about 20-30 songs in a row one by one. Anyone seen that?
  7. Spotify playlist bugs

Ideally the built in apps would just work and then we don’t need either!
  8. Spotify playlist bugs

Thanks! my working theory is that the underlying Spotify playlists are changing but the display is not. The songs it does play are what you might expect for that playlist, just not what is shown.
  9. Spotify playlist bugs

I have been having an issue with Spotify for some months now where the Spotify playlists (radio etc, the dynamically updating ones) do not behave as expected. often when I pick a song it plays a different one, or they do not play in order (shuffle is off). It seems to impact the first 5-10...
  10. Rivian r1t bike pad didn’t protect the tailgate. Buyer beware.

I was worried about the same issue since the shape of the tailgate puts a lot of weight on that crease. Were you driving on a bumpy forest road? the raceface pad has been good for me, it has double thick padding where the fork legs rest.
  11. California Sold: A2Z typhoon v1 NACS to CCS Tesla supercharger adapter- $125 shipped

For sale: A2Z typhoon (v1) NACS to CCS adapter for fast charging at Tesla superchargers. Used twice, works great! I got the official one so don’t need this anymore. $175 including shipping.
  12. Trail recommendations in Orange County, CA?

Maple springs rd up to Santiago peak, it’s tame (I’ve seen Subarus up there) but gets you cool views. I haven’t done it in the Rivian though, only by bike!
  13. NACS subscription vs Plug & Charge

Sounds like EA Pass+: Sign up when you leave for a roadtrip, cancel it when you get home.
  14. Tesla saves Rivian - Mammoth Mountain Edition

I just returned from mammoth yesterday. There are Tesla chargers that work with the lectron adapter in the village lodge. I like to stay there for that reason, and there were like 10 rivians in the garage this week. People were good about moving after charging up. Using these if you leave...
