I am also interested in learning how to pay with the Tesla app. We have a Tesla and a Rivian, would love to pay less if possible when charging the Rivian with Tesla superchargers. In CA when I've charged my R1T at a Tesla supercharger the rate is often over $0.65 / kwH.
Well, not really if you understand the mechanics. That article does point this out -“A straight extension, for example, used between the socket and the torque wrench won’t compromise the torque accuracy because the extension is parallel to the wrench.”
(although I’d call it perpendicular to the...
Curious - Did you use an actual torque wrench or just do it by feel? My torque wrench is a biggie and won't fit in the wheel wheel and I don't have enough extensions to get at it from below where the wrench handle interferes with the wheel well. I could of course remove the wheel...
I...
Sorry if this is already mentioned - if the tailgate is down, let me see out the rear from the gear guard camera above the bed when in reverse instead of looking at the tailgate from the normal low rear view cam.
Great List! #14 is my current biggest annoyance. (I also love love the truck). But I’d prefer that when gear guard has videos to display, it gives me the option but when I just shift into drove or reverse instead of touching the screen, the truck should know I just want or drive so go back to...
Argh- and the tonneau cover just did this-
now it’s stuck. I have used it maybe 5 to 10 cycles and there has been no precipitation at all. I suspect this is going to be Rivian’s version of Tesla’s model X falcon door debacle.
I can adjust - I just can't recall my saved seat position by switching the driver profile unless I'm in park. I'll test more though. Sorry I should have been more specific.
I'm 2 weeks in with my R1T and also coming from a 2021 Model Y, long range that is now my wife's daily driver. I also drove a 2006 Range Rover Sport for about 10 years and have owned numerous Audi A6's as points of comparison.
I saw this other review form a member that really align with my...
I’m having the same challenge with multiple drivers. Also, it seems that if I get in and start driving with my wife’s profile selected by the truck it will let me change the profile back to me on the screen but it won’t reapply my seat and mirror settings.
It’s probably a safety thing but I...
I was scheduled for 6/17 delivery and the south San Francisco service center called yesterday to move the delivery up to tomorrow. Same as others on here, spare tire, racks and floor mats coming later. They said the home charger was in the mail and arriving today.
So I completed the 8 steps this morning and got a vin. Delivery day is scheduled for June 17 at the South San Francisco service center. Yea! 2 weeks out.
Guide says the truck is still in Normal but she will let me know when it leaves the factory.
This was my experience with RangeRover air suspension. After about 55,000 miles It would overheat from time to time. I changed out my compressor at about 60,000 miles after it wore out trying to keep up with the leaks in the system.
But day one is clearly a manufacturing screw-up. I also hope I...
I've also managed businesses that leveraged "influencer" marketing as part of our overall marketing program/spend. We have been asked to pay influencers for reviews in the past, so some of them take money. I also doubt Rivian is going directly for more vehicle sales with this. It's likely a...
