Smaller wheels are better in snow in my experience. We went with Nokian Hakkapeliitta LT3s on the 20" wheels for winter. Also in Tahoe btw.

Thanks for the interesting trip report, cool photos, too. Love the RiRi Squat :D. Will definitely try that as we regularly get multiple feet of snow on our street before the plow shows up days later.

I had removed mine in early January and it pushed me back 6 - 11 months so I added it back today lol. Can't get much worse than 6/2024 given they'll be ramping up capacity to the point where being 10k cars ahead or behind won't matter much.

I'd think that they also need to factor in capacity, at some point a service center won't be able to service more people and they'd need to open another, right? We have multiple Starbucks in each larger city for the same reason :)

My guess is that it relates to certain parts not available enough, and efficiencies around batching similar configurations together.

I removed my underbody shield since the last estimate but may or may not correlate with the change.
