Its gotten extremely bad for me after the last update. It just flat out doesnt work and I have to open the app 9/10 times to manually unlock the car. Which is a ton of fun when I'm holding my toddler or groceries, or both.

This would be great for organizing some of my kiddos toys from his carseat :)

Damn I cant say I disagree with any of this. Rivian should read this feedback imo. Love my R1T but 100% agree on all of the above.

I also have the bars in the bed. I just tension it down at the back and let the pressure of the kayak against the front of the bed hold it in place. You can take your hand and shake the entire truck when it’s tensioned down, so I’m confident it’s staying in place.

All I can say is that sucks and it’s extremely disappointing. I don’t have experience in this area but I hope you find a resolution. I like my R1T but if this happened to me I’d probably never give Rivian another thought.
