I know, right? Thankfully I’ve already discarded my Rivians in favor of another vehicle which does in fact have a simple on/off procedure (and working door entry and a functional infotainment system).
Consequently it’s also helped me avoid folks who read urgency into someone else’s...
They requested anything that was included with the truck itself. No accessories like crossbars but they did ask for the spare tire, for example. I didn’t try to test keeping things like the flashlight or camp speaker, but given my experience with Rivian I probably should have.
I finally got an update yesterday via voicemail. The Franklin SC got the S back from the body shop for inspection before releasing it back to me. They said the work done to the tailgate area did not meet their standards, and they are going to send it back.
I wrote an email back to the SA...
Yeah, I knew prices were trending downward pretty quickly, so I was surprised it was that strong. I actually debated not accepting the trade, but in hindsight I am so glad I did. What's funny is the trade value was over $5k more than my R1S, so they cut me a check as well.
Just over $82k for a RB/OC R1T with ~5k miles, underbody, 20" ATs, and a (broken) tonneau cover. This was back in late March. And yes, if your state offsets taxes based on trade Rivian honors that.
