That is insane for a $100k vehicle to be doing that, and for you to be troubleshooting it. Rivian should pay you 40 ish dollars a month for the electricity loss.

We just got called to configure our R1S from a Sept 2022 reservation and spoke with a rep, She said you can hold your reservation as long as you want and you wont loose your spot in line. configure and lock in when you are ready. We will wait till the refresh late 2024 most likely.

So if I take a Rivian ac system out and replace my house system with it it would cool my home the same or better is what your saying?

How are watts and BTUs not the same?

12,000btu per ton, it just seems hard to believe that a vehicles ac system outputs the same as a 2000sqft home system.

I don't know about that... my 4ton/48,000btu home condensing unit pulls 4k watts when running.

I called, they said you don't have to do anything after you select pay by ACH. They will automatically take the money out.

Like said before, do not start here. High Amps can be a major fire hazard if you don't tighten thing down and strip wires wrong.
