You have to make sure you have the right papers regarding homologation, I don't know much about Switzerland and inspection.
I can send you the contact details of the ones I used for TÛV in Germany
I can PM you his contact information.
Tail lamps must be sent to him, you should probably expect an 8-10 day turnaround.
It should be possible to reprogram the telematics control module with new e-sim data.... I'm working on it....
I have imported 2 R1T to Denmark, one of these has been sold on to Greenland.
In order to be able to register in Denmark, we need an approval document, I typically get this made by a company in Germany.
As they had no data on the Rivian, I sent the car to them and got a full TüV approval on it...
It sounds interesting, and yes my R1T is on license plates here in Denmark.
I have spent some time getting it through inspection (yellow flashes in the back, and the papers for approval from Tüv.
Have been thinking about 4G connectivity and have plans to contact Rivian about replacing the eSIM...
You're right, I like the red better too......but amber/yellow is safer...
"The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) published findings in 2008 that amber turn signals are up to 28% more effective at avoiding collisions than their red counterparts" (google)
I'm new here... 2 R1T in Denmark.?
One is ready to go to inspections, to get it registered, and this also includes amber blinkers in the taillights (pic. att.) and trailer adapter kit.
I have a shop that imports trucks and cars from the US and Canada, and has done so for almost 20 years...
Hi I'm new here.
I just received my R1T imported from NY state.
Have searched online and found this Type2 socket with internal cable and part#, I know Rivian has done tests in the EU but shut down completely in the EU on May 23.
Have seen your other post and I am also working on finding a way...
