I’m not sure why I’m just now seeing this, but I apologize. I actually was offered and accepted a factory tour in April 2022 where I also took delivery. I ended up paying sales tax because of this.

Billings based R1T owner. Best vehicle I have ever owned. Used son's Washington address to speed up delivery and licensed locally with no sales tax. Had solar installed last year and with a Rivian charger I am set. Minimal issues to date but waiting for full size spare.

Which state did you source your rivian? I am assuming you registered in MT and paid no sales tax on the purchase?

I have a delivery address in CA to configure and a billing address in Montana where I plan to pay for, register and license the vehicle. Can someone confirm this is feasible? Rivian customer service is struggling with this one...Thank you!

Live in Flathead area ordered R1S 2/2020 delivery window has changed multiple times but in April the delivery window was moved to June/July still no word...losing faith.

What delivery center are you ordering from? I am assuming that you are picking up in another state but paying from your Montana address to avoid sales tax? I'm trying to figure out how to make this happen. Thank you.

This will probably be the best group for a south-central WY R1T owner for a long while! Aug 2020 preorder, changed config a few times when quad+max pack was canceled before settling on quad+large pack.

Took delivery 30 June 2023 at the Denver SC. I see R1Ts stopped at the local new-ish EA station every once in a while, but I'm convinced I'm the only Carbon County WY owner for the time being

You've got to be getting close!! I feel real lucky that I was one of the early ones because I have been able to enjoy it but I definitely have had to deal with some early adopter pains. By the time yours arrives they will all be sorted out. You won't be disappointed!
