I visited Mount Hood Meadows on Sunday. they are upgrading all their electrical switching equipment. This will allow them the opportunity to install five EV chargers. I was told they were going to start installing the chargers on Monday. also was told they will not be fast chargers.

It’s progress, only other charger is the 50kW and a L2 at Ski Bowl. Im sure these will fill up early in winter and be half full of PHEVs. Luckily I have figured out my drive from Sandy and back takes ~40% of my battery on average so will never need them personally

@SherlockOhms, I skied around 30 days last year, it was a low year as I was coming off knee surgery, this year I’m probably doing a value pass again, also have an Ikon Pass. We’ll see how my Rivian camper fares

@jjswan33 meadows has Flo chargers. They’re not operational. Last time. I checked the flow chargers at Crystal Mountain are always full but they’re fee free

@SherlockOhms I agree the free is part of the problem. I used them a couple of days last winter (week days) but had to get their earlier before they filled up as I needed them staying in the area. On the weekends I think they offer morning/afternoon reservations which helps.

That's perfectly fine for there. Most people spend 3+ hours there. Even at 6kw, it gives enough to get back or close to P-town while you're there
