Hello Windy City Rivian Owners!!! I leased my Rivian Blue R1S and wanted to get running boards installed. I know I may have to remove after my lease is up, but love the Hansshow electric running boards automatic retractable side steps. Any one here have them installed? Any recommendations on where I can have them installed as I am not that handy?

I don't have those boards, but I have the EV Wheels running boards and EV Wheels in Zion, IL (up here in Lake County by Wisconsin) installed theirs for me.

I had them on my Gen1 R1S. Worked great. Had them installed at Atrendz in Park Ridge ($500). Only downside was that the rear jack points were blocked by one of the 3 brackets. Can still jack it at alternate point per Rivian Towing Guid, just used a jack pad.

Their version for Gen2 vehicles does not block any jack points and has 4 brackets.

Not in Chicago but I just installed the step in my wife's Gen1 R1S. They are nice and smooth, open quickly and feel sturdy. Only had them on for a couple of days, so cant comment on longevity.
