Per the website: All specifications are projected for an R1S with the Adventure Package, 7 seats, Large pack battery and 20" wheels in Off-Road Mode. Actual vehicle capability will depend on selected options and trim.

Assuming the range reduction is due to the 20” and 22” wheels being heavier, would that also mean the 0-60 time for non 21” wheels would be slower as well? Or would the extra grip of the A/S sport 22” tires be quicker off the line?

Apologies if this has been asked or is a dumb question, I’ve been changing my wheel options about once every hour since I put my order in.

If you want the fastest acceleration in dry conditions, get the ”sportier” wheel option.

the range reduction is more due to rolling resistance of the 20” A/T tires and the sticky summer-biased nature of the 22” option.

In this article Motortrend did 0-60 time for the 20" ATs (3.2 sec) and 21" street tires (3.1 sec). They did not seem to test the 22", but they seem the most performance, so I would expect similar or better times. I don't think I could tell much difference between 3.0 vs 3.5 sec.
