This email was sent to me 11/11/2020. Configurator opened as shown on email 11/16/2020 and sold out of LE approx. 3 days later. Best estimate on the sold out timeframe.

My notes say that on November 20, 2020 at approximately 1:30 pm PST, Rivian announced on Twitter:

“Thank you for our community of preorder holders for all the support and excitement—Launch Edition reservations are now full. Early configurator access continues for preorder holders to build our Adventure and Explore packages. Public configurator access begins 11/23 at 9AM PST,”

If Rivian is ramping up R1S Adventure Package production, I would prefer that they build configurations that exactly match preorders from 2018 and 2019 and 2020.

I am still waiting for access. My Guide said he would request it for me last Friday.

Just wondering if your guide gave you access to the R1 shop. The CY with 20” wheels is gone this morning. Hoping you got it.

Nope. He said last week he was going to get me in, but I am still waiting.

I saw the CY on this thread, but since I literally just added the Underbody Shield, I am not to bummed. Now, the blue one is tempting, but I am still holding out for CY.

Hopefully, my Guide is right and adding the shield won’t push me back too far.

At no point did this ever happen with the R1Ts in the Shop. They started batching early last year and just released what didn't match an early order to the Shop. Much more palatable to buyers than Rivian potentially fulfilling orders from 2021 when 2018 orders are still waiting.
