Sick burn. Hope you have a good set tonight at the Chuckle Hut.
I don’t have time for hypocrites. I spent a few minutes reading some of your other replies. Maybe you should and figure out why you telling me I shouldn’t be critical of a Rivian is HILARIOUS. I’m done talking to you sir.

The complaint I am making isn’t about rivian service but rather Rivian corporate’s decisions to sublet the work out and then have no control over the experience.
Do you have the magic beans for finding quality labor ? In a lot of ways Rivians timing for coming to market wasn't obstacle free.

Agreed, but you know that they are trying to figure things out essentially in real time....and not too well often times. Just gotta give them time....or you're going to be forever expecting unrealistic results.
I agree they sort have been thrown to the wolves a bit. It was interesting because multiple people there worked for Tesla service before so you would think they would have a little grasp on it. Nice guys to be sure but over their head at the moment. on the upside I got to see a white R1S being delivered and a R1T with the ocean coast interior. Both looked great

Nah, I’m ranting. I figured my 8 hour road trip to pick up a truck they had a week only to end up with the cup holder fixed warranted some expression of frustration ?

some of you will disagree. But you’ll probably understand s00n. I truly hope not

I was not particularly impressed with the Atlanta crew during my visit there either. There definitely seems to be some disparity between service centers (to be expected). I certainly hope with the Covington facility coming that Georgia, and by extension Atlanta, will get a lot more love because they seem to need it.

Yes, I think they are nice guys for sure and I think they are trying but I would love to have a center closer and some better communication. I decided instead of calling Rivian on the way home I would just let it settle for a while and call them Tuesday. Did you get your deer kiss fixed?

I read the "Vehicles: 18 and counting…." in the OP's profile and wasn't able to summon up much sympathy (perhaps, assuming incorrectly, that these are motor vehicles). YMMV...

I'm still trying to get scheduled with the body shop in Atlanta and I'm ready for it to be a whole ordeal. I'm doing Rivian a favor by having them replace my roof and fix some technical bugs that have cropped up after the body shop does their thing as the body shop is already going to have the truck there to adjust sensors etc after replacing the door. This also does Rivian a favor as I'll have a rental from my insurance during that time so Rivian won't have to provide a loaner/rental/credits for the minimum 2 days they need to replace the roof.

Not looking forward to likely being without the truck for a month, but it is what it is.

What is wrong with the roof? Cracked glass or something else? I know a lot of people would prefer a solid roof but I really like the airiness it provides especially for back seat passengers.

Yep cracked glass. I like the panoramic roof as well but the prevalence of cracked glass has me concerned. Mine cracked without pressure and is only cracked on the inside pane (cracking is not visible from outside and can't be felt). Parked it one night with no cracks and next time we got in there's a large circular crack towards the back.
