After a 10-day road trip around the Canadian Maritimes, the R1T got much needed bath at the Alston Carwash. It was all hands on deck to figure out how to operate it.

The truck was a big hit in Nova Scotia where a dozen people stopped to ask about it.

I finally got a rough estimate delivery date for my CY R1T, mid to late 2023.

I have a November 2020 pro-order, about 5 hours from 3 different service centers. In December, they estimated my R1T delivery window as July-Sept of 2022. In June, they updated my delivery window to the second half of 2023. I still haven't heard of anyone else getting pushed so far back from an original delivery estimate. Customer service said that changing my configuration wouldn't impact my delivery estimate.

I was unsure about the yellow at first but after having it for a little while... I'm super happy I got it. It's different, but looks great, people comment on it all the time. The car shop that did the work loved the yellow and another shop I went to with my father for something had a guy come out and say he hasn't seen the yellow yet but now that he has it's his favorite color on the truck.

To me, the Yellow just seems the the most appropriate color for an EV.

I have personally never considered the yellow but recently saw the yellow EV6 at a car show and it blew the top of my head clean off. Wish I could see the Rivian yellow in person!
