I wish there was a range left tracking too they seem to be doing good. The 1969 Bronco took a while to leave camp, maybe they had mechanical issues?
I've been watching the videos and on the Day 0 Morning video they said the '69 Bronco had an issue about five minutes after it left the starting point and that the team following them had to help them out. The order that teams left on Day 1 was by the points they accumulated on the Day 0 run.

Did you notice that the R1T came back to base before completing the whole run. I wonder if its for a recharge and then they'll come out again, or if something else happened.

NVM, in the live shoot they just mentioned that they have about 1 hour optional recharge time. They didn't use it yesterday since they got plenty of regen, but they decided to use it today.

Looks like they did have some technical issues in this morning.

I wish they’d focus a little more on the Rivian team. It’s a huge feat to have this truck in this rally and yet I don’t see many ( or any ) highlights with the Rivian in it other than the opening

Maybe Rivian has a film crew out there and we will see some videos after it's over?

I noticed in this morning's live session they mentioned the rivian is having to charge half way through the race. I wonder if they are going to give a post race interview where they talk about how much of that was range anxiety.

They didn't day 0, but they did on day 1. It seems like they didn't want to risk any possibility of getting stuck since they lose points for calling in for help. Let's see how they do today since the distance is ~250miles with sand. I was really hoping they'd interview them in the morning to confirm, but no luck...

Best of luck ladies! :handsinair:

Really interested to see how the R1T does, basically where they're at is where I intend to use the truck.

I was watching the live course day 1 coverage and was it was great to see they were using the knowledge of the Nevada landscape from Jimmy Lewis. That dude is an off road legend and knows that area like the back of his hand. His wife competed in the even a couple years ago as well. Well done organizers.
