Agua Dulce LA First Drive Event Impressions & Reactions (w/ Videos & Photos)

Attended the First Drive event at Agua Dulce this morning. The course is set up nicely to test out the off road capabilities as well as the speed on the straight away. All colors besides Limestone and Red Canyon were represented (changing from Glacier White to either El Capitan Granite or Launch Green after seeing them in the sunshine. Team was amazingly nice and helpful. Great event overall.

I just got back as well, a great event though I thought the driving course was shorter then what Sonoma looked like.

They had loads of trucks to drive (that weren't being driven) and my buddy tried to get an extra test drive in but was denied.

On the way out I overhead them saying their next stop was Arizona.

Was there also. Drive time was 11:15, with the same rivian drive person. I think his name was Aaron? Anyway your pictures are spot on!. Was so exciting for me as I am not an off reader. This truck was so smooth. More than met my expectations. I only blew it when I was in cruise and was supposed to let truck stop before hitting a stopped car. I tapped breaks cause it didn't seem like it would stop in time. Lol.

Idk too much about the NY event, but the Seattle first drive event has been very limited in numbers. Has anyone even gotten a test drive in Seattle lately?

I think I'll just fly to an event that has the R1S at this point. I'm so surprised they don't have all the colors there either.

I just came back from my test drive and it was great. Offroad part was amazing. I was blown away how quiet and responsive it was. 0-60 was exhilarating.
Rivian employee outright said employees are testing the vehicle now and reporting back any bugs so they can be worked out. Just funny how a few people here kept saying "if the title is in their name, insurance, blah blah blah, it is a delivery".

Not a delivery if it's still beta testing! That said, I'm happy to wait so I can get a flawless vehicle.

Reporting back and working out bugs with be constant. Is VW beta testing my ID.4 still?
