I wanted somewhere to keep a pen some business cards and some coins, so i 3d printed a small organizer that i can slide front to back and easily remove if i have to put something bigger in.

correct, i went with supports and I usually prefer to go low infill, and add extra base and top layers to keep smooth as possible, seems pretty solid and slides smoothly. putting it in or taking it out has a little bit of resistance but its working out great so far. i took me 3 tries to ge the right size/ shape to make it go in and take out and still allowing enough room to reach down in and get things from the bottom.
